Please meet SCHATZIE, my schnauzer. The name Schatzie name means BELOVED in German.
I got him from the local shelter in 1995, when he was 1-1/2 years old. Actually, he adopted me. I walked into the caged area and he cocked his head at me, as if to say, "you looking for me?" I was a goner!
Schatzie will shake hands, sit and speak on command. He says "out" when he needs to go out. He absolutely loves his sister Terri and begins to cry the minute he sees her car approaching.
He is quite popular with all the little girlie dogs in his neighborhood, especially when he wears his dashing Harley hat. --- Lynn

This handsome doggie is my neighbor. Lynn, his mommy, takes such good care of him. She has to give him a lot of baths to keep that gorgeous silvery white coat sparkling and shiny.

He has personality plus. And such an expressive face. In the second photo, he is getting ready to ask to go OUT. He sticks that nose up in the air and goes OOOOOOUUUUUUTTTT! He really does talk.

Bear (my poodle) has a crush on him. Actually, Schatzie is the neighborhood "stud"; all the girlie dogs have crushes on Schatzie. And he loves it!!!! He is one lucky little doggy.

He sounds like a very intelligent, fun little doggie - and I LOVE the picture with the hat. Actually, his face and fur remind me of a dog we had when I was a kid. My mother always said our dog was a Puli, but I think maybe she was only partially correct, at best. I'm pretty sure our dog must have been at least part schnauzer. Schatzie is a great name for this cute little guy!

What a cutie! Though I guess I should say handsome since he's a boy. I can see why all the female dogs are in love with him! He looks like a stuffed animal with all that fluff! A dog that says out when he needs to go? Now I've heard everything. Who wouldn't love that!

Too cute...he looks like one of those long haired, long bearded biker dudes with the hat on. And since you cannot express emotion in a post very well, let me clarify my statment by saying that is not meant to be disrespectfull or to cast dispersions on bikers

Oh Lynn, I love Schatzie. He is so cute. Gee, I can see why when he cocked his head at you that you were a goner, and I can see why the "girlie dogs" would swoon over him.

Lynn, Schatzie, is a cutie. He knows a wonderful person when he see's one. Shealter animals know how to pick a good humane, after having a rotten one.

I would have been a "goner" too. Schatzie reminds me of Seaborne -- my white, fluffy cat! Like Schatzie, Seaborne is a "stud muffin" too! Love the hat!
