Max

This is Max and his Amazingly Long Tongue. He was a very sick, skinny, dirty kitten who didn't trust people and was hard to capture. After taking him to the vet, I took him home for a bath. As soon as I put the struggling little guy in the warm water, he relaxed and started purring. After that, he was even good about taking his medicine. He's now a healthy 20 pounder who has been adopted by my ex-husband, so I still get to see him all the time.

Karen, he is so beautiful! You know me and my love of orange kitties, gals! He just needed some love to come around! Looks like he's settled into domestic life just fine!

HI GS, how's Brian? How are you feeling?

OK, sorry everyone, but this is the only post I'll be making today. So much work has piled up, PLUS I have to leave early (Bry's Birthday-he's finally caught up to me at the ripe old age of 26, LOL), so I won't be around much today.

I love ginger Max, AND his Amazingly Long Tongue(c). He looks like a marmalade version of Toby :)

Sorry again, everyone-hopefully I'll be around more tomorrow-no promises-I found out yesterday that we have to move back to Miami, so we're going to start packing and moving. But I won't forget you guys-I'll still be around. At least I'll have a computer at home again :) I'm just worried about how Toby is going to take it, and I'm worried about Squeaker and her family. I don't think I'm going to have enough time to catch the babies and find them all homes....

Hello Fuzz Pack!! I love this picture! Max is beautiful! I need some advice. The babies are doing fine with weaning. But, Grace is meowing a lot. She is upset. Help, how can I soothe her. Tomorrow I am taking Grace to her "maybe forever home" with Marylynn who lives in Spring, TX. She is very interested in adopting Grace. Her grandson wants to adopt Foster & Pete . Marigold & Brutus should be ready to fly to Rose by the weekend. WE DID IT FUZZ PACK!! I can't thank you all enough for your support!

Kim, Bryan is OK-he's in a Vicodan-induced coma :) LOL

Deb, there's not much you can do. Once they're all separated they'll forget, but while they can still smell and hear each other they are going to cry.

So happy that Bryan is doing well. Keep on that medication -- pain is not good! Thank you for the support. I've separated Grace from the kittens. The kittens are fine. Grace seems to be a bit better, I am lavishing her with attention:).

This big orange fellow definately looks like a happy guy. It is always good to hear of such a happy story instead of what could have happened to this sweet boy. Glad to hear Bryan is doing well and also Happy Birthday to him, too. Hoping all is well with Danielle and Jake.

Aww - sweet Maxie boy! I was just petting him yesterday and telling him what a handsome boy he is. (The picture is cut all strange like that because my daughter had it in her scrap book.) He's a funny kitty - afraid of mice, hamsters, baby kittens, fish, anything little that moves around a lot.

What a beautiful boy! Wow! Love the stipes and his mane of white fur!

Happy B-day to Bryan! And good luck GS w/the move back! Like you said, at least you'll have computer access on the weekends! That's one plus of moving back! And I'm sure Toby will do fine!

Oh wow Mr. Max is soooooo cute. Look at that tongue! Did he give good kisses or what. Does he like his belly rubbed? I would love to pick him up. You did say 20 pounds? He's a big boy.

I called the vet but was unable to speak to her. So I left my number hopefully she will call. The Nurse lady said that he starts purring as soon as you walk near him. I miss him. He's at another vet office and I might not be able to vistit unless he gets transferred back.

Max loves to have his tummy petted - he'll roll over and stretch out for you.

Purring at the vet's? Jake must be such a good, loving boy. Glad he's comfortable there and not scared like lots of kitties are. I took Max to the vet to get fixed and, when I went to pick him up, none of the people working there would go near his cage. They warned me that he was upset and growling and might try to attack. I went back to his cage and he started meowing pathetically, then crawled into my lap and buried his head under my arm - big silly baby!

That is really funny. They are big babies. I think he does like the vets. He gets soooo much attention and food when ever he wants. The only down side is no room to roam.

I am having problems posting. It is so slow or it just won't come up.

ML's cat Missy is in the hospital. Apparently when she and Grace had their "cat fight", Missy was hurt. I feel horrible about this! ML please call me. Fuzz Family please pray for Missy's recovery! AHHHH -- I don't know what to do --- guilt, guilt!! Grace didn't mean to hurt Missy, she was just in protective mommy mode!

Hi Karen,
Max is a beautiful big cat, well-named. He'd go cute with your three, wouldn't he.

Max what a big handsome boy you are. Such pretty coloring. And that tongue of yours, Wow! You sure do look like a cuddly one.

Goodness if Jake is purring at the vet's, it sounds like he is improving to me. Prayers still going up for a complete recovery.

Marylynn (located in Spring, TX) is going to keep Grace and her grandson (age 13) wants Pete & Foster.

Brutus & Marigold will soon be winging their way to Rose.

ML, Kat, Karen, and all the other Fuzz Family, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING YOU HAVE DONE FOR THIS WONDERFUL CAT FAMILY.

ML, I'm so glad that Missy is better and that she doesn't hold a "grudge"! Let me know if I can help in any way.

MEOWS TO EVERYONE!

I'm so happy to hear that the beautiful little family has found their Forever Homes! I just want to hug everybody (human and fuzz)!

ML - Yes, Max would look good with my 3 - all that lovely black and orange! I wish I could have kept him at the time, but he loves his daddy and is happy.
