:Special Support Posting:
*OK people. We MAY have homes for all the kittens (Deb is working with someone on the last two), but Grace still needs a home. Alas, someone else needs our help, so there are no kitten pics today. Jake, Danielles' cat and Spots' brother, is sick. They need our love and support. Hopefully we'll know soon what is troubling poor Jakey. We're all pulling for you, Jake. We love you! ~GS*

p.s. You can find more pics of Jake and "his" boy in the April archives. His date is April 7, and his brother Spot was April 11.

Who is taking the other two boys? I hope Gracie also finds a home soon. I wish I could take her.

It's why we are the Fuzz Pack!

We are hoping that the "Karen from VA" from TDK takes them both. She's trying to convince her. It's Gracie I'm worried about. Adults have such a hard time getting adopted sometimes. But she's really pretty, so hopefully some one will take her....

I wish we could afford to get to Texas to get Grace! She is beautiful - we just couldn't figure out ow to budget it in :(
Of course, Alti is just now recovering from the adoption of Max into the fuzzpack so she might not be wanting a new sister so soon!
Sending lotsa healing thoughts to Jake!

We all love Jake and hope all our positive thoughts and our prayers will help both Jake and Danielle right now.

As for Grace, she is sure a beautiful girl and someone will be very lucky to have her. Hope all our reaching out to others via email will do the trick for this wonderful mom cat.

DANIELLE: We are keeping both you and Jake in our prayers!

ATTENTION ROSE: Of course Marigold & Brutus are yours. I agree with karen c, I too have met Depression, Ansiety & Panic Attack! I think the world should be on antidepressants:)! Don't you worry, these kitties will be coming to you soon. I'm taking Marigold in to the vet tomorrow, depending on her weight, the vet will let me know if she is "good to go". So, Mommy Rose, get ready for the fuzzies! Still waiting to hear from Kathy in Virginia about Foster & Brutus. ML -- still hoping Grace will live with you :)

I am not sure, but I think that Jake's ear could be caused by a hematoma. My aunt's cat had the same thing and had to have that part of his illness or is it unrelated? All my thoughts and prayers with the fuzzy family.

My sister's cat, Jennifer, had the same condition. The vet called it an aural hematoma. A blood vessel in her ear broke and caused it to swell up. The vet had to lance and drain it but the stitches wouldn't hold. He had to stitch it up again using a "mattress stitch" and she ended up with a crumpled ear. What's funny is the same thing happened to her OTHER ear years later and though my sister took her to a different vet, she ended up with matching crumpled ears.

Danielle, healing rainbows sent to Jakey from Hawaii. I hope the vet can find the problem and treat it so that he can come home.
