Sam

It took me awhile to find Sam, since she blended in with her playmates. Couldn't resist running for my camera, which I do alot with 3 inside kitties and 2 outside. All soooo different but they all make me smile with their antics. ~Lucy

She looks like a baby shower gift in the basket. She is so sweet.

I have to admit I grab my camera a lot also. My cats think I'm nuts though. I think they think........Oh well, here she goes again with that flash.

Hi Sam!

She is so very cute. If I could get Sam to lay between Maddie and Kona it would look like an Oreo cookie :-)

Is it true that white cats have a higher incidence of deafness than other colors/breeds?

I suspect it's obvious that my favorite camera subject are our cats.

I believe only white cats with blue eyes have a high risk of either being born deaf or becoming deaf. Sad, really. They shouldn't allow those cats to breed, but people think they're so beautiful they don't care about the risks. donna, I would LOVE to see a Maddie, Sam, Kona Oreo!!!!

LOL, Gheeri thinks that too. I'm always taking pics. And I will of The New Cat as well, when he's comfortable....

What a great baby shower present that would be, huh?

It's driving me crazy...my hubby still has my camera! He's using it for work, and I've missed some really cute shots today!! Arghh! Donna my fave subject to take pix of is also my kitties. My husband thinks I'm crazy. I almost have as many pix of cats as my children. lol...This a.m. was a prime example! Emma and Boca(foster) were sitting side by side at the back sliding glass door. And Emma leaned over and licked his widdle head. Soooooo cute! Oh well! BTW, I too love this pic. It is my wallpaper today!

haha, me too. Bryan goes nuts when he looks at the computer file labled "Gheeri pics". Everytime I have the camera, he's like-NO MORE PICS OF GHEERI!!!! And I'm like, but she's so cuuuuuuuuuute!!! I usually win, but much complaining on his part ensues...lol

If necessity is the mother of invention, then the inventor of the digital camera *must* have been owned by cats! It was necessary to have a quick and easy way to take lots of pictures of their cats. Just Kidding, LOL! :-)

GS, how is "The Cat Formerly Known As Steele" doing? (Hmmm, "CFKAS" -- oh well, not pronounceable.) Any progress with Gheeri-baby? It took Maddie ~10 days to accept Kona.

Aaaahhh. The Gheeri. She is..... tolerant of his existance. Ever since she lost Meeko, she is not accepting of other felines. He likes her. He talks to her, and I can JUST TELL that he is dying to rub up against her. But those ears go back to almost non-existance, and the most vicious growl she can conjure errupts from her-and occasionally a hiss. And he backs down. He is TWICE HER SIZE, PEOPLE!!!!!!! Its too cute. Meeko never backed down, and he was only a little bigger than Gheeri. But it's not his size that she is afraid of. I think she was just enjoying having the world revolve around her. What a wake-up call.

If I knew how, I would record CFKAS's voice-he talks quite a bit-and put it up. But I don't think I can....

Thanks for the Sia note. Not only did we want to know, I can bet we would all love regular updates! :-)

I guess Jake is doing better? It sounds like Oscar is mostly , 99 44/100%, recovered?

Thanks GS for the update on Sia. She may be one of the lucky ones and live to a good old age. She looks healthy, with her bright eyes, she is such a pretty baby.

Hope Gheeri will give in soon and accept the new addition. Still kind of soon, not been that long since you got Steele.

Yeah, I know. We haven't reached the Maddie/Kona record yet, but I bet it will take Gheeri twice as long to accept him. We'll see. I am still accepting names, although I'm hoping it will be Tobias. OK, Good night Fuzzies! See you all tomorrow!
