Rufus

*This is 1 of 2. Tomorrow will be part 2! You'll want to see it! ~GS*

Here is Rufus being a goofball. He's a 7 year old Labrador/Treeing Walker Coonhound mix that was found as a puppy wandering along the Natchez Trace Parkway in Mississippi. ~Teresa

Good afternoon all, just making the rounds on all of the sites while killing time at work...
Rufus is so cute as was Mia yesterday. Rufus reminds me of the dog Eddie on Fraiser in this pic for some reason although I know he's a lot bigger being a labrador.
GS I was trying to think of some names for you, but I'm not very creative when it comes to names. I do like cartoon names like Tom or Felix, though you probably already thought about those.

I left you some names at my site, GS. I wasn't thinking when I was typing(on the phone) or I would of left them on your site. Oh well!

Rufus, great name. It suits you! Makes me think of my sister's basset hound. His name was Rupert! And he looked like a Rupert!

Lisa s, Tom is close, I liked Thomas O'Malley, from the Aristocrats, but Bryan quickly squashed that idea :( He looks like a Thomas. All the names he looks like, Bry doesn't like. AAARGH!!!!!

Wait till you see tomorrow's, everyone!

Oh yeah, Rufus definitly fits his name, ya'll! He's a sweetheart but not exactly the brightest of crayons in the box ;)
I wish we could have adopted his littermates as well - they were all adorable! And "Splabs" (spotted labs) as my roommate calls him are a great mix!

GS - Oh, I was like everyone was just talking about how his name suits him, duhh! Then I read your next comment. Sorry, I see Rufus as a dog name. Can't say that I care for it too much for a kitty, but you're the one picking the name. And you'll know if it's right.

Rufus looks like such a happy doggie. He looks like he's trying to say something - very sweet.

If I had a big furry gray boy kitty, I'd lean toward Albus (as in Dumbledore - and then I'd call him Alby), or Gandalf.

Karen - in that pic he is talking to us :) Pat will call out his name "Ru, Ru, Ru!" and he will yodel back to her. He is very much his momma Pat's boy!
