*As TDK is back up and running, the kitten series is finally over. Enjoy the Pet du Jour!*

This is Yoda, my sister's Corgi, with what appears to be a cat growing out of his butt. Actually, that is Patche$, and no, that is not a typo, her name is Patche$, and that is a whole 'nuther story. ~Jan

Hi Yoda!

Yes, I agree with GS. With those short little legs...did he get a boost up? :-)

I hope we hear the story about Patche$ someday soon, too. Do they get along?

What a sweet dog. Right out of a Rita Mae Brown mystery novel.

Yes, it would be interesting how he got up there. Maybe Jan put her up there???? As you can tell I don't know if the cutie is a she or a he. Funny to just see the eyes of Patche$. You can barely see her body.

Yoda, you are a good dog.

I agree GS! What is going on Jan?!
I love Corgi's and there short legs. My best friend had a Corgi mix...gosh! I can't remember her name at the moment. Ohhh, Katie. Katie was a master escape from the yard artist. They would put her out to go potty and think the yard was secure and out and down the street she'd be! Then they put her on a tether and she got out of her collar. She was a mess! Yoda, just by your name, I'll bet your the same (ha...I'm a poet)! Hi Patches! We want to see you better!! Jan!?

Somebody must have lifted him up there - I doubt those cute little legs could jump that high. He looks very intelligent and I like his ears!

OK, ladies, here I am. Let's see if I can answer them all...

No, Yoda is not a counter surfer, he was put on the counter to be measured. He is 29 inches long, and 10 inches high at the shoulder.

He gets along with all three of Kitty's cats(Yoda belongs to my sister Kitty in Tucson). He loves to "beak" them with the nose, and since they don't have front claws(not my cats-not my fight-don't go there), they beat the snot out of him. They can all jump, and he can't, so if he's really being a dog, they go "up". Sometimes you will see dogs and cats sleeping together, but not too often any more.

Yoda is a joy to have around, especially now that he is house-broken. Other than annoying cats, his favorite thing is to play ball. He actually wore out a 4 month old Aussie last weekend!

I'm looking forward to seeing all of them in June!
